Dynamic options (a substitute for an "If, then" function.) Help!

I'm really stumped. I need options/vlaue to change depending on the answers chosen by the user.

i.e. What you choose for Option A will alter how Option B is procesed.

It would be so easy with a "If, Then" function. Any suggestions?

I don't understand. Javascript and FormCalc both support if-then constructs.

Apparently I don't either. I looked up the alphabetically list of the functions in the help file, and there was nothing that even hinted at "If". But, my boss did some research, and he said he found a different area that had what we are looking for. I don't where it is, but I'll try to find it.

Thanks

There it is! "If"s! Hurray!

So, I guess my question is: what is with this list found in the help file? How much more is missing from it and why?

If you want to use FormCalc, there's documentation that comes with Adobe LiveCycle Designer. In my case, it's at

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0\Designer 8.0\Documentation\EN\FormCalc.pdf
