Designer 9.0 and Readyer Version 7.0

Hello,



I recently craeted fillable forms using Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. I then learned that forms created using 7.0 cannot be saved. I was now looking into upgrading to Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.0 to crate forms that can be filled out and saved.



My question is, if I create the form using 9.0 can a user that has reader 7.0 view the file, fill it out, and save it? I'm talking about a very basic form, just fill in the blanks and choose from some drop down boxes. Any help would be appreciated.

Any form template that filled using Adobe Reader needs Reader Rights Enabled. Look for 'Reader Extensions' product in Adobe LiveCycle family.
