Converting to PDF/A

Hi,

I'm trying to convert to PDF/A format using Adobe Live Cycle PDF Generator.

Anyway, I don't see that PDF/A format is available when i try to convert

a PDF file.

Only when i choose create PDF , i can see the following format which in my opinion is the suitable one (namely : PDFA1B 2005).Is this the format i have to select in order to convert to PDF/A ?

You have to convert from PDF to PS and then to PDF/A
