Renaming an activated segment / new name does not sync at the destination level

Avatar

Level 3

Hello!
We successfully created and activated an audience to a destination (Facebook Custom Audience) some time ago. No issues whatsoever.
Recently, we renamed this audience in RT-CDP and noticed that the new name does not get synchronized on the destination side.

Are there any specific steps we should take for the new name to get updated at the destination side?

For instance, should we first de-activate the audience, change its name and then re-activate it? Or any other steps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

@Olivier_Blonste confirming at this point in time, the segment name change is not a trigger for exporting profiles. This would apply to all partners, hence the need to remove the segment and re-activate.

From experience and based on previous customer requests, this is expected behavior. AEP does not propagate segment name changes to external partners yet (I'll try and get that confirmed with the Product Team)

Note that for new segments being shared from AEP to DV360, the segment name appears at DV360 end. When updating a segment name in AEP, you may have to remove the segment from activation and then add it again with the new name.
