in AEP Customer "Audiences" page, for an Audience values are appearing in Sample Profile Section, but Qualified Audience Size is showing 0. What can be the reason for this. How to resolve this to have some Qualified Audience?

If the segment was created recently, there could be some timing issue whereby it wasn't included in the latest batch daily segment job but the fact you see 0 seems to indicate the system did not compute anything for that definition.

Recommendation here is to raise a Support ticket so the teams can properly dive into the finer details of your sandbox schedules and segment definition.

@SouravBh5 Difficult to answer fully, in theory you could see sample profiles because the sample job once captured profiles that matched some prior segment logic (+ sample jobs do not usually update every day), while the current audience evaluation might legitimately have 0 qualified profiles.

  • Has your segment definition ever changed?
  • What evaluation type do you have selected for that segment? Is it Streaming, Batch?

@Tof_Jossic Thanks for responding. To answer you queries: No Segment definition has not been changed and Evaluation Type is batch

Hi @SouravBh5

You can try the evaluate audience instead of your regular segment refresh job. For that, you need to have batch audience alone. If it is batch audience then you click that checkbox and click evaluate audience like the below screenshot. This will ensure the segment evaluate issue if any.

If it is not a segment evaluation issue then, you can check your conditions where you have any data on the same. If some condition block the overall data qualification.

Hi, this is a bit of a complex one to answer seeing as we need more info on the setup. Is the audience streaming or batch? how are you updating the profile data?

if the audience is streaming, it takes about 15 to 30 minutes to update, but looking at profile data it will show the updates on the hub. Batch, that runs once a day. the profiles you would see are from the estimator, and that runs on a small sample size. really, this all depends on the segmentation cycle

cheers, marc

Hello @SouravBh5  - As Tof mentioned, the reason could be the segment was recently created , in that case you would have to wait till the segment evaluation time.
