Impact of AEP Sandbox reset on other tools. Will the DEV sandbox reset in AEP impact the Data Collection/ Launch configuration?

Hi,

We want to reset our DEV sandbox in AEP as quite a few schema, dataset, audiences are out of sync after a identity change in the platform. We want to reset the DEV sandbox because you cannot delete the schemas. 

 

I want to understand what is the impact of this on other Adobe tools of same eco system specially on Data Collection/ Launch and AJO?

Will all the existing configuration in Data Collection of DEV sandbox erased? 

What about the AJO journeys, campaigns, events, messages in DEV sandbox? will these go as well.

What will happen to other tools like analytics, target, etc.

I can think of a few impacts - basically anything relating to AEP datasets would be affected

Data Collection - disruption to data collection, variables, and connections related to AEP datasets

AJO - disconnection of campaigns, journeys from datasets in AEP

AA - affect to data flows, audiences, and reports that depend on AEP datasets

Target - Audience segmentation issues, if relating to AEP data

AAM - deletion of audience and segment data synced with AEP
