Edit Marketing Actions after Destination Creation

Is there a way to edit marketing actions on a destination after the destination has been created? I don't see a way in the UI but maybe via API? Thanks!

Hi @RyanMoravick ,

It appears that there is no way to edit the marketing actions via the UI or API after a destination has been created.

I reviewed the following documentation:

- Edit Destination via API: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/destinations/api/edit-destination

- Update Accounts via UI: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/destinations/ui/update-accounts

The documentation only mentions updating account details, but there's no mention of editing marketing actions.

If your destination isn't linked to any dataflow, you can delete and recreate it. However, if it's linked, you'll need to delete the associated dataflow first, then delete the destination and create it again.

Alternatively, you can create a new destination altogether.

Best regards,
Parvesh

Thank you @Parvesh_Parmar I ended up deleting the destination and created a new one with the appropriate marketing action.

@RyanMoravick  the reason for not being an option is each destination has to be configured 1st for the data flow, in case of edit it will break dataflow. Curious to know what is the use case to edit marketing actions.
