AEP Schema filed descriptions to Customer Journey Analytics

Hi there,

 

hope you are doing good.

 

Is there any way to bring AEP schema field descriptions to CJA dimensions ?

@deepakkv Going back through older posts.  From what I can tell CJA does this automatically.  Maybe something new?  I checked my instance and verified it matched what is in the Schema.

That's a great question! I haven't tried this so far. We may have to check with Adobe if there exists such feature in AEP and CJA.

Hi @deepakkv,
CJA doesn't have this feature as it allows you only to add schema fields that you may define as dimension/metric. Field description is a metadata of field which can't be accessed in CJA.
