Working with video assets/player AEM!

There are several video links in a page where the videos are mapped to DAM. When clicking on the links it should open the player and play the corresponding video. What's the best way to do this! Or is it recommended to create a page with dynamic media component and map the video link to this page! What're the best practices!

@jezwn Thank you for reaching the AEM community. We can solve your work in multiple ways. Do you have Dynamic Media License? If yes please do the DM setup and use Dynamic Media components which is a recommended way of implementing video components

If you do not have DM license and not planning to use DM, it depends on how large those videos are? Use AEM Video renditions to load appropriate video formats and use HTML5 Player to configure Videos.

You can create a component Video component and render the video in iframe and take the reference from DAM.
If you as me best way, then it's DMS as Sashi suggested.
Also you can go for hosting video and asset on Scene7 server and use it's reference in AEM. In that way your DAM size in AEM will also be minimal.

Thanks,
