what sort of access/profile do I need so I can add custom domains/manage pipelines in AEMaaCS?

as above. At the moment, I cannot add custom domains and I cannot add/edit pipelines.

This is what I see when I hover my mouse over the Add pipeline button

Generally its the deployment manager role which is needed which you seem to be having. You might want to retry login after clearing cache/cookies.

EDIT: I just logged in via private/incognito browser and same results.

I tried comparing your second screenshot with our deployment manager's profile and I still see Deployment Manager - Cloud service profile missing for you there. This is how it looks. So, I would say something is still missing in your case.

with your screenshot, are you listed as admin for "Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service - Cloud Manager"?

I'm only listed as developer.

Thanks

thanks for the tip. I've been given extra access and I was able to assign deployment manager to myself (I was not able to do it previously)

Can you request someone to add you as a Business owner as well for a short duration?

A user must have the Business Owner or Deployment Manager role to add a custom domain name in Cloud Manager, and you must be using the Fastly CDN.

Also, while logging in please assure you are using the right Enterprise profile  and not Adobe.

@jayv25585659 You will need a deployment manager profile to be able to do that,
