Hi guys,

I would like to add coral-CharacterCount with maxLength or minLength with a coral textfiled. Could you please help me and let me know what properties do I need to add in textfield to enable the character count?

Coral UI CharacterCount: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/sites/developing/using/reference-materials/coral-ui/coralui3/Coral.CharacterCount.html

Thanks!

Rashid

They stated you can use a JSP to use this API.

Ah ok, it shouldn’t be a big deal putting it in a jsp.. although I don’t have a post on this

Here is the granite/coral text field ref docs - TextField — Granite UI 1.0 documentation

This is the resource type you should use in AEM components - like a component dialog.

We are checking too internally to see if there are samples of using the main Coral API within an AEM dialog for example.

Thanks Scott,

This is all being generated using CSS. And I think there should be a property to handle this functionality with textfiled, similar to like filedDescription which provide tooltip. It will be really helpful if you consider to fix this in your future release.

Thanks!
