What all advantages does omni search have over other searches available in AEM?

There does not seem to be too much information on this subject. I believe one of the best Search methods in AEM is still using QueryBuiler API.

Hi Vasim,

All searchs in AEM uses same engine.  The advantage with omni is single place author can search for tags or images or page etcc   instead of going to specific console search page.
