Hi All,
We have customized workflow to publish the assets to scene7 by checking the required metadata properties in our project and hence we have disabled the scene7 components in the configuration to prevent the assets to be published automatically while uploading. But we are noticing that the video type assets gets the scene7 properties without triggering our workflow and the video files are getting processed automatically. Any inputs on how to prevent this?
Thanks.

Hi @kautuk_sahni , I suspect there could be some workflow launcher associated with the video mime type which is triggering the workflow. @nithya90 Could you please check the launcher console and and also check error logs on video upload

@nithya90 While you're checking the launcher configurations, also check the DAM Update Asset and other custom workflows for assets to ensure the video files are also excluded.
Additionally, I would suggest check the logs when you upload the video or change the metadata of an existing video. This helps in narrowing down who is publishing either workflow or something else.
Hi,
Thanks for the response. I have disabled the dynamic media launchers in the workflows and now it is working as expected. While disabling the dynamic media, the thumbnail for the video files was not getting created so I have added a new launcher to run DAM update asset workflow whenever video file is uploaded. I have raised ticket with adobe support to check if there will be any impact on disabling these launchers. Will keep you posted if I get any updates!!
Thanks.
