I have a requirement wherein a user on the site should have the ability to store some links on a section of the site. If anyone knows the best way to achieve the same, please let me know. I have been looking into it and found that :
1) Post the data to the user's profile and store it in a property in the profile and retrieve it by accessing UserProperties. Not sure if this way is the correct way or not. Appreciate if some one can provide more insight into the same.
Even if I were to use the approach mentioned above, I am wondering how will that data sync across multiple publish instances, I may/may not have "real" clustering on the publish instance which might mean that I will have to reverse replicate the data to author and then publish to all instances.
Appreciate more guidance around the same.
