Hi All,

We are newly adapting AEM screens for digital signage solution, i have seen a lot of documentation but still unable to understand if we can use an Apache server in-front of the author instance and achieve the below two options

- can we use Apache instance URL for registration?

- can we leverage cache if we use an Apache for rendering content to screens player?

As I understand you can use an Apache URL to register a screens player for authentication purpose on an enterprise level.

With regards to dispatcher, I don't see a use case with AEM screens as it has its own caching mechanism on the player side. From the documentation there is no mention of utilizing dispatcher for caching screens related functionality other than adding few headers.
