Good morning,
when switching from Aem 6.4.x to Aem 6.5.x must I always update the version of the Uber Jar library to the 6.5.x version on projects?
Is the version of Uber Jar linked to the version of the service pack installed on AEM or should the latest available on the repository be entered ?
Thanks

In pom.xml , the version is mentioned as 6.5.10 then both uber jar version and service pack version should be same .
Thanks

Please check below url to find the compatible uber jar versions.

To shortly answer your question, Yes, the Uber jar version should be equal to AEM version.
When upgrading the code base the version of the Uber Jar should be changed to point to the target version of AEM.
