Hi,

One of my AEM 5.6.1 was running on a local machine, due to some reason machine got off  suddenly so as AEM instance running on it.

Once machine was started back, AEM instance is not working properly, I could see that it got started but when I try to open anything I see bank page.

I think something went wrong when machine suddenly turned off without shutting down AEM instance properly.

Need some information on following:

1. How to get this AEM instance running back?

2. What was actual problem which might have caused this?

I faced this situation few times, Please share your thoughts, Let me know if you need anything, I have attached last part of logs

Thanks

Hi,

doing an unclean shutdown can corrupt the repository[1]. The authentication support service error is a symptom of an error much further back in the error log. Please search through the error log and see what is the first exception that occurs.

I have seen that before - but my solution was to clear my DEV instance by deleting the Quick Start folder and starting AEM Quick Start again. (Of course i deployed my packages again too)

First I would make sure all your bundles are started ('Active' status, not 'Resolved').
