i am getting following errors in developer console , when i enable personalization using contexthub, target cloud service.

If I add a new activity, component targeting with audiences, component text is blank.

I hope someone from Adobe could answer this. i am using aem 6.3.1.0( 6.3 with sp1)

Can you please try the same on a fresh instance - we have written various articles on AEM and personalization using Target - i have never seen this:

See if you get an error when following this article too.

smacdonald2008 Do you mean just 6.3.0 ? without any service packs , CFP ?

Yeah - i am wondering if that SP is impacting this. Also see the artilce we posted. We never had an issue with this.

smacdonald2008 The only difference I see is from above article : I enabled context hub and included line of code in head.html of page

If I don't enable contexthub, do not have above line of code, "Targeting" mode not available.

Should i not enable contexthub, if So, please let me know, how can I get "Targeting" mode in author instance.

i have put in include of

<sly data-sly-use.clientLib="/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html" data-sly-call="${clientlib.all @ categories='cq.widgets'}" /> and cq undefined error not displayed but following error displayed.

Any help on this?

Is this one a fresh instance of AEM? You are getting JS errors on product code - seems to be a bug somewhere.

I have installed 6.3 fresh instance in my local, enabled context hub, configured target cloud configuration.

in page properties http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/we-retail/language-masters/en.html disabled inheritance and added target configuration in "cloud services" tab. I have created a new activity names test-we-retail, selected "Mac Users", "Windows Users" as audience and experience name, Goals and Settings page is giving an issue in developers console and page never gets rendered successfully.

Targeting does not work on OTB pages.

i created a new activity with adobe target engine, named "test-we-retail"

two audiences named "test-chrome-audience", "test-safari-audience" with rules browser equals to chrome, safari respectively.

I opened up page in preview mode in safari, still see default audience text. " default discover the finest gear"

i should be seeing " test safari discover the finest gear" in text box.

I followed this article Creating Personal Experiences using Experience Manager and Adobe Target , I did not use any experience fragments rather I edited the text for different audience.

Any help ?

1.Have you created:- Are you sure AEM Target cloud configuration? This procedure only works for Target Classic credentials which is decommissioned now. We can still get this but for that we need to get this configured from Support.

2. Make sure Cloud Conf is added to page as well.

can you please confirm this? also, do check error.log as well.
