SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Uncaught SlingException java.lang.NullPointerException: null

Hi,

 

Below is my server configuration,

AEM version : 6.5.4

Java : 11.0.5

Acs commons : 4.3.2

 

When open the we are getting below error in sling request processor impl class,  page content is not loading.  It's blank.

 

This issue happens in local environment only, not in dev or other environments.

Not sure why this happens in local alone, We started dev environment run modes in local server, but no use.  Configuring new servers with other run modes also didn't help us.

 

We don't have any workflow triggered while opening the page.  Also we are not getting any other error in log.  We have overlayed the below workflow JSP file,

cq/gui/components/authoring/workflow/startworkflow/startworkflow.jsp

This overlayed JSP working fine in higher environments.

 

I have attached full error log in file. 

Please suggest on this issue.

Please try the following steps to address the issue:

  • From CRXDe delete all subfolder sunder /var/clientlibs and /var/classes. NOTE: do not delete /var/clientlibs/rep:policy
  • From OSGI go to http://<host>:<port>/system/console/slingjsp and "Recompile all JSPs"

 

Ideally, you need to restart an AEM, however, it is not mandatory.

    For folks using AEM 6.5, you won't find /system/console/slingjsp
