Site Importer on 6.3

I'm confused. The Adobe site says:

The Site Importer has been removed in AEM 6.3. It is available on Package Share when downloading the geometrixx sample pack. See the AEM 6.2 documentation for information on using this feature.

So does this just mean you need to install the geometrixx sample package and Site Importer will work with 6.3 again?

Yes SteveB,

Site Importer has dependency on Geometric Clientlibs. So for working the SiteImporter you have to download the Package share of Geometrix inside the package share you will have the Site Importer.
