Short Url Configuration

Hi 

Can someone please let me know how to short URL configuration in AEM.

for e.g if author URL is this prod-author.advenio.merckgroup.com/content/seven-seas/en_HK/home.html

I need same URL should open in publisher as                                            

prod-author.advenio.merckgroup.com/en_HK/home.html and so on.

How to proceed on this and whether we need to configurations in author or publisher
