Send multi-value entries through workflow payload

Hi,

I wanted to find out why my email template will not record the payload information given in a checkbox through the built in form components that come with AEM 5.6.1 Is there a way I could get the form component to send this information? 

The problem is detailed on a post I found my problem here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1092662 which is the exact issue thanks in advance for any help.
