Hi team
I am using rich text editor in one our components. When I add a hyperlink to a word that has a punctuation after it say comma(,) or dot(.), the RTE adds a space. Could you please let me know the reason for this and a way to fix this.
In the above image betwee 'Workato' and dot(). a space is showing up. This happens whenever there is a punctuation after hyperlink.

I am using AEM 6.2 classic RTE. However, could you please add the hyperlink on just the word without selecting the punctuation.
The following image shows the space being added after the word.

Hi,
When I try with internal & external page, I don't see any punctuation
Wondering you or your team modified the link plug-in or any other plug-in? please check is there any customization of relics and please check in vanilla 6.2 as well.
Thanks!

I am not seeing anyone able to replicate this issue in the community. Try on a fresh instance to confirm this does not happen OOTB. Then on the instance where this is happening, check the plug-ins to see if something has happened to them - as suggested by Ganesh.

The issue is space is being added between the hyperlink and punctuation. I think you misunderstood it as punctuation being added after hyperlink.
Whenever we are trying to add a hyperlink on a word which has a punctuation(',' or '.') after it, if we don't select that punctation while adding the hyperlink it adds a space.
Ex: Consider the following text I am adding in RTE
"There is an issue of with this." - This has a dot after word 'this'. Now if we add the hyperlink to word 'this' without selecting dot('.') it creates a space between word 'this' and punctuation ('.')

I followed your example, I'm unable to reproduce the issue.
Did you try in vanilla 6.2? and any custom plugin?
Thanks!
