I am in the process of upgrading a 5.6.1 site to 6.1 and am encountering some new behavior. In 5.6.1 if a node had an unknown sling:resourceType then nothing would be rendered in the resulting html page. However in 6.1 it seems the node is rendered with the default html renderer servlet. I have been unable to find any configuration which controls this behavior. While we are working to clean up the bad nodes I would like to ensure that at least the publish instance does not render this information on bad data.
Can someone help me to understand what is wrong or misconfigured? Any direction to documentation would be fantastic.
