Required Fields on Custom MetadaSchema in bulk edition

Hi,

I've added some new fields in a custom metadata schema for assets and some of them are required.

When editing one asset it works fine and it is marked as required and doesn't allow the user to save without filling it.

But when we select more than one asset and edit their properties, the field is not displayed as required.

Is it this way by design? Or can I consider this a bug?

Does all the assets which are selected has the same Metadata schema ??
