RedirectTarget Not Working in AEM 6.2

Hi Team,

Page properties redirectTarget property is not working in AEM 6.2.

Even it's not working on we retail reference site.

If someone have faced this issue.Please help us.

Hi Feike,

I have created a page component same as we retail reference site then using this page componenti have created a template using template editor.

Using which i have created a page .

On this page if we go to page properties -->advanced tab ----> redirect path property and configure a path , page should be redirected to corresponding page but it's not happening in my custom template and even on reference site.

I was trying with wcmmode=disabled only as it use to work with wcmmode=disabled only on 5.6.1 also.

But its not working for me with wcmmode=disabled for our project as well as on we retail reference site.

Did you try on we retail reference site?

Hi Fieke,

Please try on  atemplate which inherits wcm/foundation/components/page and not foundation/components/page.

As it works on foundation/components/page.

Thats why its working on geometrixx outdoors and not on we -retail.

I can see it now, looking at wcm/foundation/component/page I don't see any code for the redirect.

So I am not sure if this is a bug, or whether it is not supported (yet);

For now i am using redirect.jsp which we were using in 5.6.1 and same jsp i have included in my head.html

The root geometrixx page (/content/geometrixx) uses a page with the sling:resourceType: foundation/components/redirect.  You could create a template in your project that uses this page component to create specific redirect pages. (/HT Kunal Mittal)

No fix or update on this. I recommend you raise a support ticket for this case.
