Question regarding Segmentation/experiences in AEM 6.2

Avatar

Level 2

Hi,

According to the 6.2 release notes (https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/administer/personalization/campaigns/segmentation.html), segmentation testing is done via client context.

however, client context is declared as deprecated starting v6.2 and replaced with Context Hub.

can you advice how to utilize AEM segmentation features in v6.2?

thanks,

Liran

Hi Liran,

Its not kind of deprecated but they are moving towards context hub. There are no new improvements happening with Client context.

AEM 6.2 still supports client context. You can use either client context or content hub to test your segmentation. Refer [1] & [2] to see how to use it.
