Hi there all,
I'm using AEM and I'm having huge performance issues (which seem to be tied to the sheer number of workflows that are being run).
Is there a simple way to simply stop them from running or to just purge them? (The workflows being run seem to be completely superfluous)
I've had a google and I can't find what I'm after - so if anyone can point me in the right direction, that'd be really great.

AEM has OOTB support for Workflow clean-up via Granite Console and JMX however may not satisfy all use cases. ACS AEM Commons’ Workflow Remover helps bridge the gap and provide power-tooling to remove unwanted Workflow instances.
Documentation for regular purging of werkflow:

I haven't used it myself yet, but ran into the Workflow Remover tool which is contained in the ACS AEM Commons package:
https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/workflow-remover.html
I have good experience with some other tools in that package, so it's definitely worth a look.
