Content Fragments (CFs) are not supported for the MSM use case. When attempting to create their live copies, CFs are copied over as is without any relationship. The copied CFs are a snapshot in time and do not update when the original CFs are updatedLimitations and known issues of MSM for Assets

Following is a limitation of MSM for Assets.

  • Content Fragments (CFs) are not supported for the use case. When attempting to create their live copies, CFs are copied over as is without any relationship. The copied CFs are a snapshot in time and do not update when the original CFs are updated.

  • MSM does not work with metadata writeback enabled. Upon writeback, the inheritance breaks.

@ritesh01 , as @Pallavi_Shukla_ replied, content framgnets doesn't support MSM.

I'm not sure about your exact use case and the reason behind using content framgnets, please check if you can use experience fragments for your use case. You can have rollout feature with Experience fragments by writing custom soutions.
