opening a link in a popup window using AEM richtext editor

How can we add the plugins for opening a link in a popup window using AEM richtext editor?  I know we can open a link in a new window using hyperlink.

Here ae docs for RTE. https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/author/page-authoring/rich-text-editor.html. I am not aware of any plugins that produce popups.
