Login error redirects to Geometrixx Error Page, need to stay on OUR login page

We have a login page using the OOTB login component and CQ's user management. For some reason, when there's a login error (i.e. incorrect password, fields left blank, etc...) it goes to the Geometrixx login page instead of staying on the login page and displaying the errors like it should. 

Why is this? What do I need to change to get the failed login to stay on the same page (which, really, should be the OOTB behavior)?

Had to update the com.day.cq.auth.impl.LoginSelectorHandler.config config file to include our login page.
