Issue with Adobe Core language navigation component

We are inheriting Core language navigation component in the project. The website is using SSI to provide the header and footer. Language Navigation component is a part of header. After dispatcher layer, the component is not working while navigating to the corresponding page in other language/region. It always points to the home page. Has anyone experienced the same?

AEM version: 6.5.9

Core component: 2.8.0
