Is there a limitation to number of assets (child notes) per Note? for Scene7 or in DAM

We are using CQ5.5. Just wonder if there is a limit to number of child notes in Scene7 or in DAM?

Generally it is better to be organized & have less assets which helps even for authors,marketers to perform daily activities better.  I would recommend keep as small as possible & not more than 1000.
