Hi,
The other day I stumbled upon this blog post: https://cqdump.wordpress.com/2014/02/24/rewrapping-cq-quickstart-to-include-your-own-packages/
It basically shows how to repackage the cq-quickstart JAR file to contain all the hot fixes that one might need out of the box, rather than installing the hot fixes one by one.
Is this a safe approach? Does Adobe recommend it our discourage it?
We have found that REST-based hot fix upload and installation (that we use in our automated deployment scripts) to be a bit fragile. I was wondering if it is safe to use this approach instead?
This could potentially speed up our deployments as well.
Thanks,
Behrang
