Hi ,

To generate required DAM Assets renditions we can Make required configuration changes in DAM Update asset workflow. This is easy and straight forward way.

But In some Projects, I have seen using ImageMagic Tool in the DAM Update Asset Workflow to generate the renditions. What is Advantage of using ImageMagic in generating renditions?

Thanks

Chaitanya,

OOTB DAM renditions will give only basic image renditions. If you want to do more granular activities on the images you will use imagemagick. One of the use case is dynamically generate renditions on the publisher side..using imagemagick is one of the way.
