I have gone through this:

It gives no mention to whether stemming is enabled by default or not. If not, how to enable it. I have used to out of the box CQ component named Search on a page of mine and search for content in my website using INFLECTED words for example "provided". I expect getting results for "provided" as well as "provide", which isnt happening. I have also tried the same in the CRX home search box, but Stemming doesnt work there as well.
Please help on this matter.
