How to define default React component properties in code - AEM 6.5

Hi. I know that is possible to set default properties in _cq_dialog XML but for AEM 6.5 the properties are declared only for dialog (the are set as default when opening the dialog) but not for the component - in component they are undefined.

 

So how to set default properties by AEM for React components?
