how to create the launcher for this situation

i want when ever the metadata (photoshop:status )updated to trigger my workflow 
like this  but acutely  this statement do no thing   any ideas
(jcr:content/metadata/photoshop:status != jcr:content/metadata/photoshop:status@PreviousValue)
