I have created multiple user groups on admin console like pre-production-publishers and pre-production-developers and provided them access to different products (dev, tst publish).
How long would it take for these groups to be available on authoring environments? I see difference in terms of number of members appearing under admin console and dev environment user groups.
thanks,
Sailesh

Hi @sailesha,
I am not sure if there is an exact time documented but typically it takes 15-20 mins to see the changes reflected on the AEM instances.
https://www.aemtutorial.info/2024/11/how-to-synchronize-adobe-ims-user.html
To quote from the above blog -
User & Group Sync delays between AEM and Adobe IMS
Note: There may be a slight delay in synchronization from IMS to AEM. Please wait about 10 minutes for the sync to complete and ensure that the user added to the IMS user group has logged into their product profile before conducting an end-to-end test. User login enables the quick sync process.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Rohan,
That was my understanding that at max in 30 mins it should sync but I see mismatch in terms of group member in what it is appearing in admin console vs what it is appearing at authoring environments, and users been added couple of days back ...
Seems like a support case need to be raised to check issue.

Yes, I hope the product profile for users or admin have also been assigned to the respective users for AEM instance access.

Thanks Rohan, all sorted now, it takes a while for sync to happen. Also this is dependent on user to login again to be able to reflect on that particular environment. It is not full sync by default.
