Get root page properties on all child page

Hi All,

Can i get root page properties on all child pages but condition is root page and child pages are using the same template and i don't want author all child pages.

Here we can not use design_dialog as per the requirement.

You can do it with Java.

Create WCMUsePojo and find root page using below method and read root page properties and return as map.

// Initializes the navigation

  @Override

  public void activate() throws Exception {

  rootPage = getCurrentPage().getAbsoluteParent(1);

  ValueMap vm = rootPage.getProperties();

}
