Hi,

Create a page in AEM with Register & in page properties configure redirect to external page.

OR

Custamize the topnav component to append custom external navigation.

Thanks,

'Register' should point to an external webpage. Is there a way to accomplish this using the OOTB topnav component configurations?

I am not looking for any custom JS code or any other to achieve this.

This typically involves changing the a href of a navigation component. See this article where we build a nav component for a site -- Adobe Experience Manager Help | Creating your First Adobe Experience Manager 6.3 website
