Enabling non html files in Touch UI

Hi all,

We have few text files under /content/myapp path and to edit them we need to switch to classic UI and edit.

Is there a way to make such files editable in Touch UI with all the regular options like triggering workflow, replication etc. so we can be independent of classic UI dependencies?

Instead of text files, you can look into creating content fragments that might be useful for using within the pages as well. Also, try uploading the text file to assets.html and you should get all the options like workflow, replication.

Thanks Jaideep for the quick response.

Yes we already have evaluated that and are aware of such options however there are legacy dependencies that we are trying to overcome and the query is that if such an option is present in Classic UI then the Touch UI might as well provide an option via config.

This is the query we are trying to check upon in case this forum can guide in uncovering such a config to enable/disable this feature for non html files.
