Email Template Overlay AEM Cloud

I want to add comments in current ootb email template.

I tried to overlay /libs/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt to

/apps, - Didn't worked

/conf/global/settings/workflow - Didn't worked

/etc/workflow/ -Didn't worked

Am I doing something wrong in here?

You can follow the below steps to overlay the default email template in AEM Cloud:

• Copy the template from /libs/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt to /apps/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt.
• Edit the copied file in /apps to make your changes.

Note: Use /apps for overlays to ensure updates are preserved during upgrades. Restart if changes don't appear.

We recently encountered the similar issue and after consulting with the Adobe support team, able to customize the email template in AEM Cloud by placing the en.txt file at the following path:

/conf/global/settings/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt
