Hello,

Does AEM have SEO tools in Wordpress like Yoast? https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo This tool will be used for content authors to check their SEO score before they will publish the page.

Yoast is great because it provides the content author with SEO ratings, checks, and a score before content authors publish the page on Wordpress.

The AEM editor does not support such tools as Yoast. You can build something custom in AEM or, another way is to use 3rd party tools. As a quick solution, using free or subscription based SEO Google Extension tools, content authors can quickly get feedback from a page before publishing the page (view publish mode). Tools such as:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/website-seo-checker-free/nljcdkjpjnhlilgepggmmagnmebhadnk?...

Hope this helps,
Brian

Thanks for your comment, but I was looking for tools, but not best practices.

AEM itself does not make any assumptions, also frameworks cannot do that. It's always totally up to the creator of the page templates how the markup looks like and what type of (meta) information is added to the page. While it's feasible for AEM to provide a standardized way for metadata, it always depends on the adoption of the developers.
