Customize AEM Component Console Page

I would like to have a download button in the aem component console so that I can download it as an excel sheet. Here's the component console url: http://localhost:4502/libs/wcm/core/content/sites/components.html

 

Is this possible? If so, is there any example on where to add the code?

Yes, it's possible to add a download button to the AEM component console to download the component data as an Excel sheet.

To achieve this, you can add a custom button to the component console toolbar that triggers a JavaScript function. This JavaScript function can fetch the component data from the server and create an Excel sheet from it.

Here's an example code snippet to add a download button to the component console toolbar:
