I need to make customisation of the comments, which comes in the side rail after clicking of the annotate button in assets-->files-->selection of an asset.

Any hints?

Here you go-

http://localhost:4502/crx/de/index.jsp#/libs/cq/gui/components/coral/common/admin/timeline/events/pr...

check this file later as well. /libs/dam/components/asseteditor/actions/versioning/versioning.jsp

I tried changing "There are currently no entries. " in line no. 167.

make sure to overlay it.

please check and let me know.

You can find the component used for this under /libs/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/timeline/events/activity and comment. You can overlay or extend based on your requirement. Since this is OOTB dam feature, better not tamper it unless strong usecase.

There is similar annotation comment option for page authoring, use it.

I dont exactly need to annotate. i want to use the idea of commenting in the side rail while authoring.
