Every so often, the ContextHub UI will glitch out and show like this. To fix this what I've been doing is 'deselecting' the UI, and preview mode, reloading the page, waiting for a couple of seconds, then checking the UI again.

AEM Version: 6.4.5

Running on: Chrome Version 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Unable to reproduce the issue on OOTB AEM 6.5 instance.

Try installing the latest SP.

jQuery version bundle was upgraded for ContextHub in SP3. https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/release-notes/service-pack/previous-hot...

I hope it helps.

I have SP 6.4.5 installed. Do I need something newer? @sunjot16

You had mentioned AEM 6.5 instance in your initial post. So, I thought you are using AEM 6.5. Try installing SP8 on your AEM 6.4 instance. (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/release-notes/sp-release-notes.html). jQuery verison bundle was updated to 3.4.1 for ContextHub.

@sunjot16 Oh yes you're right, that was a mistake on my part. I'll fix it now. Yes I'm running 6.4.5, not 6.5. I'll give that a shot and get back to you!

@sunjot16 So update here, SP8 didn't help, but I found the problem. It turns out one the child pages wasn't "inheriting" the CH configuration and Segment configuration from the root page. (which I set) Also on each of the child pages, an "inherit from root page" checkbox was set on the CH configuration fields in the properties page for all of them, yet it never inherited the value from the root. Turns out for some reason, there was a hard-coded value on some of the child pages which stopped the inheritance.... so cleared all that... and it inherited properly and worked! (the inherit checkbox never worked though)

Oh. That's awesome !! If it still wouldn't have resolved the issue, I would have asked you to log a Daycare ticket.

Thank you for sharing the resolution steps here.

Cheers !!
