Component Extractor option is not working.

Hi All,

I am using AEM 6.1. I am importing my old html site in AEM. Using site importer[https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/develop/dev-tools/site-importer.html] I am able to successfully import my site in AEM but when I clicked on component extractor to build the AEM component from that content then no site content is appearing on that content window. Then I try using the open option from component extractor page to open the content page then it redirected me to a new tab and open the site in browsing mode.

Could anyone know who to resolve this issue? How I can create component from my Imported content?

Thank you in advance!!

Rashid

This functionality is antiquated and useless.  I highly recommended doing a 1-1 migration and building the components yourself.

When you import your content - do you see the component in the JCR? That is, does it appear under /apps?
