No content is not created by authors on Publisher. Generally user generated content(Data of form submitted by end user) is created on Publishers which sometimes require to be published to author. In that case publishing happens automatically using launchers or sling distribution.

So publishing is basically pushing the data based on the replication agents you configure in AEM. So in publisher, one of the use case I explained above uses Reverse replication agent to transfer data from Publisher to author.

Hi Akshay,

Author is place you do the activation(Publishing) to the publish instances. Publish instance is to view the authored and activated content. Why are trying to activate the content from Publish instance?

Hi @Saravanan_Dharmaraj

If we are not publishing content on publish instance then why there is option of quick publish and manage publication?

Also can we create content on publish instance?

If yes then how will we publish that?
