Can I try Adobe Experience Manger free on a local computer for limited time?

Hi guys, I'm wondering if I want to install/try AEM on my local computer, do I need to have a license code? I read that I need to download cq-quickstart-6.2.0.jar file first to get everything up and running, but can I download it somewhere and if I don't have a license code, can I get a trial for a few days at least?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,

Yes you can have a standalone jar file.

please fill the below form and you will get a URL from SPP help team of Adobe. and that email only you will have license code.

https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?idx=82357Q

Once you download the file. you can rename the jar file.

For Author: aem62-author.p4502.jar

For Publish: aem62-publish-p4503.jar

after extract the jar file you will redirect to register page where you will have input the license code which will be provided by SPP team in email.

Hope this will help you!

Thank you very much Prince! It's very helpful! Do we need to be part of the solution partner program to get the jar and access though? I just submitted a request and haven't received the access email yet.

Hi,

Wait for some time. if you still not get the email then let us know.

Make sure you are using your corporate email ID.

I always prefer my corporate ID so it took 5-6 hours to get email.

Yes as prince stated, you should use corporate email for registering into solution partner program.

And yes, you will receive within 3 to 4 hours, if you register via your corporate Email. I do also prefer corporate email!

Hi Prince and Ratna,

Thank you very much for the reply!! Yes I sent the request with corporate Email information. It's been 5 hours and a bit more. Do I need to associate the corporate email account with the company's solution partner program as subsidiary though?

Thanks,

Penny

Hi Penny,

It will be good if you will register yourself with Adobe solution partner.

and their also you can check if your company is registered with Adobe or not.

let us know if you require any help to register there.or you can also mail your queries to SPPHELP@adobe.com
